英语专业精读教学中的人文素质教育研究

摘　　要：精读是高校英语专业学生的主干课程,是培养学生综合语言能力的重头戏,也是学生人文素质教育的良好平台。在精读教学中实施人文素质教育,一套好的教材是基础。从《现代大学英语》编写原则和特点入手,分析这套教材在培养学生人文素质方面的优势和可行性,进一步阐释如何充分利用这套教材,在课堂内外提高学生的人文素养。Intensive reading is one of the most important courses for English majors. This basic course not only trains students in their language competence but also provides a platform for humanistic education. The paper first analyzes the characteristics of Contemporary English and then analyzes how to carry out humanistic education by applying these textbooks in teaching intensive reading.
