摘　　要：高职英语课程的主要教学目标是培养学生实际应用英语的能力,要达到这一目标必须要激活高职英语课堂,使学生积极主动参与英语学习实践活动,多听多说多练。教师要更新学生学习观念,培养其主动参与学习的意识;营造和谐愉快的课堂氛围,调动其参与学习的积极性;创设"交互"活动,为其学习和使用英语搭建平台。The ultimate goal of the English course in vocational colleges is to develop the students＇ ability to use English for real communication. To achieve this end, the present English classes ought to be activated to make students actively involved in English practice activities, practicing more listening and speaking. The English language teacher should update students＇ learning concept, and cultivate their awareness of actively taking part in studies. A pleasant and harmonious classroom learning atmosphere should be created so that the students can feel free to participate in the language learning activities. The teacher should design various interactive activi- ties to provide a platform for the students to acquire and apply knowledge of English.
