摘　　要：创办于抗战时期的西南联大,尽管条件艰苦,但由于具有通识教育理念、课程设置合理、教学制度完善、名师云集以及教学民主自由,因而培养了大批有造诣的杰出人才,创造了民国高等教育的奇迹,为目前高校培养创新人才提供了借鉴与思考。Founded in the Anti-Japanese War period, the Southwestern United University, in spite of poor conditions, produced a big number of outstanding talents and created the miracle of the higher education of the Republic of China on the basis of her concepts of general education, advanced curriculum, consummate teaching system, the big population of famous professors and scholars, and democratic and free academic environment. Her successful experience provides a precious model for China＇s universities today to aimed at producing innovative talents.
