摘　　要：汉语四字格英译是口译中的难点之一。本文以2013年两会李总理记者会现场口译为例,归纳了口译员在翻译汉语四字格时所采用的四种策略,并结合实例进行了分析。文章指出,会议现场翻译汉语四字格时应尽量直译,不能直译时应根据具体语境,采用灵活策略,将其译成意义相同或相近且符合英语习惯的结构。The interpretation of Chinese four-character structures is a prime difficulty for interpreters. Taking Premier Li＇ s meet with the press during NPC＆CPPCC sessions in 2013 as an example, this paper proposes four kinds of interpreting strategies as employed in the interpretation of Chinese four-character structures and gives a detailed analysis of other types of utilized interpreting approaches. IL concludes that to interpret Chinese four- character structures properly and promptly, literal interpretation strategy could be the first choice for the inter- preter and other appropriate strategies should also be actively adoptec in line with contexts, which points to the apt way of corresponding deliverance of English structures with the s^me or similar meanings.
