摘　　要：以高职高专汽车专业为例,论述改变高职高专汽车专业英语课程(ESP)设置与行业脱节现状的必要性。认为只有实现ESP与EGP(大学英语)的有机结合,才能处理好英语语言基础知识和应用语言技能之间的关系,使学生"学有所用"、"学以致用",为汽车行业的发展提供数量充足、素质过硬的人才支持。This article takes Automobile major in professional college as an example, to change the reality of ESP being entirely out of joint with industry, the only thing can alize the combination of ESP and EGP, deal with the relationship of basic English and and put it into practice, so that enough talented person to automobile industry can be and believes that be done is to reapplied English, provided.
