摘  要:以内容依托式教学理念(CBI)为指导,通过需求分析对高职公共英语教学模式进行了构建,并对湖南铁道职业技术学院制造类专业两个年级的1 382名学生展开了为期两年的公共英语教学实验。结果表明,与传统的教学模式相比,基于CBI理念下的高职公共英语教学模式通过采用主题模式教学和分层教学,增加了学生的语言输入输出机会,更有利于提高学生英语学习兴趣,有利于培养学生的文化素养与职业素养,能更有效地提高学生的英语应用能力。Based on the analysis of the content-based instruction and the needs analysis, this study tries to construct a suitable higher vocational English teaching mode: the combination of level dividing teaching mode and the mode of CBI theme-based activities both in class and outside the class. Researchers of this pa- per conduct an experimental study of 1,382 non-English majors within 2 years to examine its effectiveness from three aspects. The results show that the combination of level dividing teaching mode and the mode of CBI theme-based activities in class and outside the class is effective in improving learners' interests in Eng- lish learning, cultivating learners' cultural and vocational attainments, and enhancing learners' English language competence.
