摘　　要：理雅各对包括儒家经典在内的中国典籍进行了系统的研究和翻译。他的翻译是被他独特的宗教思想所驱动的。理雅各的宗教思想是他在长期传教实践中和对于中国传统典籍尤其是儒家经典的深入理解之后所形成的。本文首先阐述了理雅各翻译的《中国经典》及其影响,其次深入解析理雅各的宗教思想及其成因,最后通过对其译著的研究,进一步分析在他的译著中所体现的宗教思想。James Legge has systematically studied and translated the Chinese classics.His translation was driven by his religious belief,which was formed after his long-term preaching and thorough study of the Chinese classics,especially the Confucian classics.The author illus- trates James Legge's translated works The Chinese Classics and its influences,analyzes his re- ligious beliefs and the reason for his religious beliefs and elaborates the religious belief repre- sented in his translated works.The author illustrates James Legge's religious belief,analyzes the reason for his religious belief.
