摘  要:用大量的调查数据和事实,从读书、普通话、沟通能力、说写水平、人文知识积累诸方面描述出大学生母语水平下降,渴望提高却实际学习动力不足的尴尬现状。造成母语教育尴尬的原因包括:中学分科、多种升职晋级考核母语缺席、缺乏激励措施、外语热和"两课"占据了过量的基础必修课课时,以及汉语教师数量少地位低,无法保证教学质量。职能部门决策者要从民族精神和国家文化软实力高度认识母语高等教育的必要性,要像对待外语与"两课"一样重视母语教育,立法保证高校母语高等教育必修的学分,适当减少现行的外语和"两课"课时,加强母语教育工作的投入和制度建设,校园文化建设和专业教师都要共同关注大学生母语教育,形成合力才能使学生母语水平获得普遍提高。This paper uses a lot of survey data and facts, such as reading, mandarin, communication ability, speaking and writing level, humanistic knowledge accumulation, etc, to describe the causes of college studentsr decrease in their native language level and their embarrassment of wishing to improve but lacks learning motivation in practice: subject category in middle school, absence of native language in a variety of promotion examination, lack of incentive methods, "foreign language fever" and required class hours occupied by "two political courses", few number and low status of Chinese teachers, leading to incapability in guaranteeing the teaching quality. Therefore, we call for decision makers of functional departments to understand the necessity of higher education of native language from the perspective of national spirit and soft power, attach importance to native language education as same as treating foreign language learning and "two political courses", and make legislation to guarantee the native language education in colleges and universities.
