摘　　要：本文分析了21世纪报的一些基本特点,提倡将报刊阅读融入到大学英语写作教学中,使得读写结合,通过讨论、阅读、欣赏和借鉴这一过程,切实提高大学生的英文写作水平,达到输入和输出的有效结合。By analyzing some basic features of 21st Century, this essay attempts to apply newspaper reading to college English writing teaching. It helps students to improve their writing ability and keeps balance between the input and the output by combining reading and writing well in the whole process of discussing, reading, appreciating and imitating.
