摘　　要：准确把握海外华文教学的基本性质与具体定位是开展分班测试等教学活动的主要前提。在深入剖析海外华文教学的主要特征基础上,本文以加拿大McMaster大学孔子学院为例全面探讨了分班测试在海外华文教学中的重要作用与具体实施,并专门针对具有华裔背景学生的华文教学提出了可行的教学对策。McMaster大学孔子学院的华文教学属于纳入大学正式学分体系的公共语言选修课。首先,根据教学定位制定出可操作性强的学生语言能力评估指标;之后,通过网上注册与直接面试相结合的方式全面收集学生的语言能力与文化背景信息,其中最核心的部分是根据测试大纲与具体教材设计形式灵活、具有甄别度的测试问题;最后,在综合分析学生的面试表现、文化背景等各种信息后,做出最有利于学生学习的分班安排。A scientific evaluation of the goal of the teaching is the necessary premise of the smooth opment of teaching Chinese basis of the practices in the language as a second language overseas, such as the placement test. devel- On the Confucius Institute at McMaster University, the article made a thorough anal- ysis of the placement test, with an emphasis on Chinese heritage students, such as the goal of teaching, the criteria of assessment, and the enforcement of the placement test.
