摘　　要：当代开放大学因其虚拟性、世界性和无边界性等特征而具有了无比丰富的内涵,它使得对受教育者进行"量体裁衣式"的大学教育设计成为可能,也展示了一种未来大学发展之崭新形态的萌芽。当代中国开放大学的建设首先需要着眼于现代大学的基本制度成果,也即学术自由、通识教育、大学自治、教授治校以及董(理)事会制度等五个方面组成的大学制度架构,以积极回应这一新的历史机遇,创造性地建设具有中国特色的开放大学制度。The contemporary Open University has an incredibly rich connotations because of its virtual,global and borderless characteristics.It is possible to educate the students according to their needs,so that it has also shown the future development of new forms of a university.First of all,the open university of China needs to focus on the results of the basic system of modern university,that is,general education,university autonomy,academic freedom,and board of trustees,and so on.The Open University of China will be able to respond positively to the new historical opportunities,and to construct the Open University system with Chinese characteristics in a creative way.
