摘　　要：高职院校的英语教学工作要结合高职教育定位来开展,要在以实用为主、应用为目的的总体教学目标的指导下进行英语教育。要把培养管理、技术、技艺型人才与英语教育相结合,体现职业综合能力素养。针对高职英语的教学现状,对学生英语基础薄弱、教学效率较低等问题进行课程研究。在研究中发现,高职英语报刊教学对于高职学生提升英语素养,以及进行人文教育具有重要的作用。高职英文报刊教学具有综合性、实事性、实用性、趣味性较强的特点,可以提高学生的学习兴趣,同时也对提高高职学生的英语综合运用能力起到了重要作用。基于此,从高职英语教学现状、英文报刊教学目标定位、英文报刊教学目标实现途径三个方面进行探究,在科学教学设计的基础上,优化英文报刊教学效果,以期使英语教学真正满足学生专业发展的需求。Higher vocational English teaching should take higher vocational education orientation into account to be carried out under the guidance of the general teaching objective of practice and application. The cultivation of management, skill and technique-oriented talents should be combined with English education. According to the current status of higher vocational English teaching, this paper researches the problems of low English foundation and low teaching efficieney. It is found that higher vocational English journal teaching plays an important role in improving students＇ quality and humanistic education. Higher vocational English journal teaching bears the features of comprehensiveness, carrying current affairs, application and interest, which can not only increase students＇ interest but also promote their overall English applied ability. Therefore, this paper researches from the current status of higher vocational English teaching, English journal teaching objective orientation and the ways of realizing the teaching objectives and we should optimize English journal teaching effect based on scientific teaching design in order to make English teaching really meet the demands of students＇ major development.
