摘　　要：文章针对高职学生英语实际应用能力不强，口语表达能力弱的现象，提出了如何有效组织利用英语角来提高高职学生的英语口语。The problem is common that students in vocational colleges can not express themselves in English effectively and can not apply what they have learnt to their conversations. This paper puts English corner forward as an effective solution to improve students＇ English in vooational colleges, and also it presents the ways to initiate English corners.
