摘　　要：应用型高校英语教师对教育评价目的、概念和知识的不明晰是制约应用型高校向纵深发展的障碍。它关系到应用型高校所培养的英语人才能否为地方经济乃至国家经济建设服务的大问题。所以,提升应用型高校英语教师教育评价能力,应引起各类教师培训机构、各级教育管理部门及教师自身的高度重视。Teachers,for college English classes in higher institutions, do not have a clear understanding of the aim,concept,and knowledge of education evaluation,which makes an obstacle to the deeper development of the applied-oriented higher institutions. The teaching training institutions, education departments of various level, and teachers themselves should pay more attention to promoting the staff＇ s knowledge about evaluation.
