摘　　要：我国古典家具和新中式家具行业发展迅猛,但与之形成鲜明反差的是设计人才的紧缺。编写具有本土特色的《中国家具设计》教材,全面提高中国家具设计人才培养质量,已成为亟需解决的迫切问题。《中国家具设计》教材的编写应具体反映和重点突出中国古典和新中式家具设计的历史性、艺术性、思想性、实用性和科学性。At present, the classical and new-type furniture industry in China develop rapidly. In contrast, it suffers a great shortage of talents designing the furniture. Thus, it is urgent to compile the textbook of ＂Chinese Furniture Design＂ with local features and improve the quality of talents designing the furniture in China. The textbook compilation should re- fleet and highlight the historical, artistic, ideological, practical, scientific aspects of Chinese classical and new-type furni- ture.
