摘 要:采用调查问卷方式,对193名莆田学院非英语专业本科生课外听力学习情况进行了调查。结果显示:被调查的大部分学生课外听力时间投入较少,且缺乏安排和计划;尽管多数学生认同课外听力的积极作用,但他们缺乏课外听力实践的积极性和主动性,不懂如何有效选择听力材料,对听力策略了解不多,在元认知策略和社交/情感策略使用方面有较大欠缺。根据调查结果,提出了应对建议。A survey was conducted on 193 non-English major undergraduates about their extracurricular listening conditions through questionnaires. The major findings are as follows: Most of the students surveyed admit that they spend little time on extracurricular listening and they don't make a good arrangement for it. Despite their recognition of the positive effect of extracurricular listening, they lack the enthusiasm and initiative in listening practice. Furthermore, they don't know how to choose proper listening resources. Little cognition of the listening strategies leads to a poor performance in the application of meta-cognitive strategies and social/affective strategies. Based on the above findings, this paper puts forward some positive suggestions.
