英译本《格萨尔王》的语言正负偏离现象

摘　　要：依据零度偏离理论探讨了英译本《格萨尔王》的语言零度偏离现象,发现存在语言正偏离及负偏离。旨在为从事中国少数民族典籍作品汉译英工作者提供一定的语言借鉴。尤其是在语言零度正偏离的运用方面,启发译者在翻译过程中积极运用语言正偏离,消灭语言负偏离现象,使中国少数民族典籍作品,如"伊玛堪"等作品的汉译英质量有进一步的提高,促进中国少数民族典籍作品在海外的顺利传播。Based on the theory of zero level deviation, this paper explores the deviated use of language in the English version ＂King Gesar＂ which not only covers positive deviations but also negative deviations. It is pointed out that the use of loaned words, converted words, figures of speech, inverted sentences, etc. are positive deviations which have enhanced the beauty and ex- pressiveness of language , whereas the omission of prepositions, conjunctions, punctuations, etc. are negative deviations which have hindered effective communication. Therefore, it is suggested that positive deviations should be encouraged in the translation of Chinese minority classic works such as Yimakan, and negative deviations be avoided for the purpose of propelling the smooth dissemination of Chinese minority classic works abroad.
