基于认知的汉英色彩词“黄”的联想意义对比

摘　　要：颜色词"黄"所拓展的联想意义是在人们对色源体认知的基础上再通过联想而获得的。从认知角度分析汉英颜色词"黄"的语义异同之处,剖析影响人们对"黄"语义认知的因素,旨在更好、更全面地了解汉英颜色词"黄"的意义,避免跨文化交际障碍。When people gain a better perception of the color terms, they add some associative meanings to them, which leads to the extension of word meanings. The enlarged meanings of the color term ＂yellow＂ are associated with how people perceive the color sources. This paper at- tempts to discuss the similarities and differences between the color term ＂yellow＂ in English and Chinese language, and explore the factors which affect people＇s cognition of the term, aiming to enable people to have a better and comprehensive understanding of the meanings of ＂yellow＂ in both languages and avoid barriers in cross -cultural communication.
