中国古典戏曲翻译需要考虑可表演性吗？

摘　　要：可表演性是戏剧翻译中颇具争议的话题，至今仍然未有一致的看法。从中国古典戏曲经典化、案头化，中西戏曲文化传统差异以及戏曲文本与戏曲演出的关系三个方面分析的结果表明：在中国古典戏曲外译的过程中，译者翻译的重心是解决语言和文化隔闽，向西方读者介绍中国戏曲文化，而不是考虑让中国古典戏曲如何用外语在舞台演出，故不需要过多的考虑可表演性。Performability in drama translation, as one of the most debated issues, is still trapped in the labyrinth. By tracing the history of Chinese ancient xiqu, pointing out the difference between Chinese and western drama tradition and culture, and analyzing the relationship between drama text and performance, this paper has come to a conclusion that while translating Chinese ancient xiqu into foreign languages, the focus should be placed on linguistic and cultural barriers rather than on the performability of the translated text.
