摘　　要：文人画研究是中国艺术史的一个难题,不能仅仅借鉴图像学的研究方法。本文以米歇尔的图像理论为支点,反思象征的图像学和图像修辞,沿着海外文人画研究成果,尝试将图像、文字看作文化符号,扩大图像修辞的使用范围,指出文字、图像和象征内涵的作用以及复杂的修辞结构。The research of literati paintings has been a hard subject that should not be confined by the research methods of iconology. This paper points out the function of texts , images ,connotations and complex structures of the rhetoric by viewing texts and images as the cuhural symbols and extending the usage scope of the visual rhetoric based on Mitchell picture theory and the overseas research findings of literati paintings with a reflection of iconology and visual rhetoric.
