《红楼梦》中死亡委婉语翻译研究

摘　　要：《红楼梦》中含有大量的委婉语。在杨译、霍译两个《红楼梦》译本中对死亡委婉语的翻译,体现了英汉语言背后的文化差异。A great variety of euphemisms are used in Hang Lou Meng. The differences and similarities in translating death euphemisms by Yang Hsien-yi and Hawkes show that the differences in culture between Chinese and English which lie in the euphemistic expressions of death.
