评《英汉大词典》法学术语译名

摘　　要：通过几年研究发现《英汉大词典》100余个法学术语译名不确,即并非原语词的对应词。力图修正这些不确译名,本文以19个法学术语为例论述了《英汉大词典》译名方面存在的10个问题,并对这些术语的译名提出了修正意见。Based on his several years＇ research, the writer of this paper finds that the Chinese versions of more than one hundred English legal terms is inaccurate and can not be regarded as equivalents to the original. The writer plans to compose four papers and to try to revise these Chinese versions. The present one picks up nineteen translated versions of English legal terms in The English - Chinese Dictionary to demonstrate ten types of defects in the translated versions of English legal terms, and proposes new versions with great fidelity.
