摘　　要：以教育部提出的"大学英语教学改革工程"的改革为背景,从认知隐喻理论角度将隐喻教学应用于英语文化教学中,采用定量分析与定性分析相结合的方式,以调查问卷和数据分析等形式对认知隐喻理论在促进非英语专业大学英语文化教学中的作用进行研究,旨在提高学生的学习兴趣和加深学生对文化本质的理解。Taking the reform of “College English Teaching Reform Project”which is put forward by the ministry of education as the background ,this paper attempts applying metaphor teaching in the English culture teaching from the perspective of cognitive metaphor theory ,and studies the effect of cognitive metaphor theory in promoting the culture teaching of Non -English major students by the way of quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis ,aimed at improving the students’ interest in learning and deepen students’ understanding of cultural essence .
