摘　　要：其中 Ω是 R^2中的有界区域.设(?)={T}是对Ω的单元剖分网格,V_h 是相应的有限元空间.问题(1.1)的标准有限元方法,是寻求 Ritz 投影 u^h∈V^hFor the variable coefficient elliptic problem on a convex polygonal domain,the usuabarycentric numerical quadrature schemes over triangles are used to compute the finite ele-ment stiffness matrix.The modified discrete solution with linear finite elements is show toadmit an asymptotic error expansion for certain classes of “uniform” meshes.This justifiesthe application,in practice,of Richardson extrapolation for increasing the accuracy fromthe second to the fourth order.
