摘　　要：介绍了Ｗ*光滑点的定义，给出了一般Ｂａｎａｃｈ空间Ｗ*光滑的等价描述，以及Ｏｒｌｉｃｚ函数（序列）空间Ｗ*光滑点的充分必要条件．In this paper, we introduced the definition of weakly star smooth points, and obtained the equivalent description of weakly star smoothness in general Banach spaces, we also get the necessiry and suffcient conditions of weakly star smooth points in Orlicz spaces.
