摘　　要：远程教育所倡导的是以学生自主学习为中心。教师是学习的辅导者、咨询者。教师的工作是收集、分析学生的各种信息,为学习规划和课程设计做准备,远距离开放大学的教师承担着大量的教学管理工作,要花大量的精力和时间对各地的学习点上的学生和教学进行管理,并还兼有咨询的职责,要做大量的咨询工作。在多媒体教材的设计和制作过程中,教师起着主要的、决定性的作用。Distance education advocates the student - centered autonomous learning. Teachers are both tutors and counselors. The teachers' job is collecting and analyzing various information of students, preparing for learning plan and course design, undertaking a large amount of work of instruction and management, spending much energy and time on the management of students and their study and at the same time taking the responsibility for counseling work.
