摘  要:To the Editor:Serum alkaline phosphatase (ALP) is an important bone turnover marker in chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients, with studies indicating that higher serum ALP levels are associated with increased mortality in hemodialysis (HD) patients.[1] Our previous study also showed that higher serum ALP levels were independently associated with all-cause and cardiovascular mortality in peritoneal dialysis (PD) patients.
