汉英颜色词的使用及文化探析

摘　　要：英语和汉语中颜色词的使用 ,尤其是两种语言中颜色词引申意义 ,既有相同之处 ,又有较大的差异。黑白两色引申使用的共同之处 ,表明了在相似的语言进化过程中不同语言对颜色词认知和使用的共性。而对黄蓝两色的认知和引申使用的异同 ,一方面反映民族文化的差异对颜色词引申寓意的深刻影响 ,另一方面也说明了文化对颜色词语影响中的共性。This paper attempts to make an analysis and a comparative study of the color terms from a cultural perspective. It discusses the extended meanings of some color terms used in China and western countries, their similarities and diversities. The extended meanings of 'black' and 'white' in different cultures signify that the color terms share the common recognition and application in the course of evolution. The analysis of 'yellow' and 'blue' reveals not only the differences in meanings but also the common influence from cultural factors.
