摘　　要：林纾在清末民初翻译了西洋小说189种,把外国文学大规模移植到中国来,促成了中国文学的巨变。通过研究林译《撒克逊劫后英雄略》的个案,探讨了其翻译对传播新文学事业带来的特殊色彩,在中国文学史上具有划时代意义。林纾仿效西方文学的尝试,对推动中国文学走向世界,具有不可忽视的作用。From the end of the Qing dynasty to the beginning of Republic of China,Lin Shu altogether translated as many as 189 foreign literary works,which contributed a lot to the transformation of Chinese literature.Lin Shu’s translation of Ivanhoe brings great stir at all circles of the new literature and new culture.Furthermore,this stir can be a landmark in the history of Chinese literature.By dipping deep into western literature,he plays an important role in promoting Chinese literature to the world.
