“Sort of”在英语口语语料库中语境暗示作用

摘　　要：在日常语言交际中,语境暗示是影响会话正常进行的重要因素。研究语境暗示,有利于更好地理解说话者的本意,提高交流的有效性。英语sort of在语料库中分析政治话语时赋予语境暗示角色,从香港英语口语语料库随机抽取100个sort of索引行实例,其中sort of与名词短语或动词短语搭配出现的39条实例中,sort of作为模糊化暗示、明确化暗示、既模糊又明确暗示的作用表现明显。Applying the approach of assigning sort of the status of the Hong Kong Corpus of Spoken English, this study examines of a contextualization cue into the analysis 15 randomly chosen concordance lines in which sort of collocates with NP or VP, identifies the frequencies of the type - noun anchored collocations, and analyzes the functions of sort of as more - fuzzy, less - fuzzy and more - fuzzy and less - fuzzy cue in these concordance lines.
