摘 要:20世纪90年代以来,随着我国大学英语教学改革的开展和深化,大学英语教材层出不穷,其中不乏使用面广、影响面大的教材。然而,由于教材评价指标体系的缺失,一部大学英语教材的优劣和在特定人群中的适用性却无从得知,导致各高校选择教材时无据可循,受到很多外部因素的影响。通过深入分析我国大学英语教材评价研究的现状,试图从评价目标、评价主体、评价标准和评价内容、评价方法、评价结论等方面提出建议,为大学英语教材评价指标体系的构建理清思路。Ever since the 1990s,with the development and deepening of China’s reform in college English education, a large number of college English textbooks have been written and published. Admittedly,among these are widely-adopted and influential textbooks. However, the quality of a college English textbook and its applicability to users are barely known,due to the unavailability of a systematic evaluation index system for college English textbooks.As a result,there’s no quantitative standard for universities to follow when they choose their English textbooks and their selection of textbooks is easily affected by external factors.This paper analyzes the status quo of China’s research in college English textbook evaluation field and the problems existing in evaluation factors such as evaluation objective, evaluation subject, evaluation standards, evaluation methods, and evaluation conclusions,and in attempts to suggest an approach to the construction of evaluation index system for China’s college English text books.
