语用等效理论下的组织机构名称英译——以商洛市商州区为例

摘　　要：组织机构名称的英译是城市国际化进程的重要标志。准确、规范的翻译对更好服务来华外籍人士,推进城市经济以及旅游业发展都至关重要。中西方文化背景下的组织机构名称不尽相同。"语用等效"原则强调在翻译的过程中充分考虑两种语言所处的不同环境,不拘泥于原文与译文形式上的机械对应,灵活采取多种翻译方法,以达到和原文尽可能相同的表达效果。因此,根据"语用等效"理论,组织机构名称的英译可以采取借译、仿译、创译等多种翻译方法,以达到最佳语际效果。The translation of organization′ name is an important symbol for the internationalization of a city. The accurate and standard translation will better serve foreigners in China and further develop economy and tourism. Actually,there are some differences between establishment of organization under Chinese and English cultural backgrounds. Pragmatic equivalence takes the difference between two languages into consideration,and emphasizes that the translation shouldn′t be limited by the structure of language and pursue the exterior equivalence inflexibly. On the Countrary, flexible ways should be used in translation so that it can reach the perfect expression. Furthermore, in terms of pragmatic equivalence,the translation strategies of ″borrowing″ ″creating″ and ″imitating″ can be employed.
