摘　　要：水质工程学是给排水专业的主干课程之一。该课程不仅影响学生未来事业的发展,而且对我国环境保护也具有重要意义。为提高教学效果,必须使学生充分认识到该课程的重要性,提高学生兴趣;采用先进的教学手段,使教学更生动形象,教学内容更易于接受;根据教学目的调整教学内容,增强学生的知识应用能力与科研开发能力。Water Quality Engineering is one of the main courses of the water supply and drainage specialty. The course not only affects the future career development of the students,but also our country’s environmental protec-tion. Its importance must be fully recognized,so as to increase students’interest and improve teaching effective-ness. Advanced teaching methods must be adopted to make teaching more vivid and knowledge easily accepted. Teaching content must be adjusted according to the purpose so that students ’knowledge application capacity and research capabilities are enhanced.
