摘　　要：叶维廉除了比较文学观、中国诗学论,以及中英文诗歌互译,诗歌创作外,其散文创作也是一个相当丰富、艺术生命力活跃的世界,可惜一直未能得到足够的关照与整合式的理解,这实在是汉语文学创作成果以及研究成果的一种损失。其实叶维廉的散文与其作为离散身份特有的"放逐"、"愁渡"、"郁结"等心理属性紧密关联,其散文中诗文并置及诗性特征更是其文学艺术理念的具体表征,作为游记散文的文化属性也有待分析整理的空间,是打开叶维廉文化艺术审美观念的一扇窗口。Apart from his views on comparative literature, his theory of Chinese poetics, his translation of English and Chinese poetry, and poetry, writing, Wai-lim Yip＇s prose works form a world of artistic life that is rich and vital which, unfortunately, no sufficient concern for, or total understanding of, has been shown, a real loss in the achievement of Chinese-language literary creation and research results. As a matter of fact, prose works by Wai-lim Yip are closely associated with such psychological properties as ＂dispersal＂, ＂sad crossings＂ and ＂depression＂, with him being an identity of dispersal. What is more, the juxtaposition of prose and poetry in, and poetic qualities of, his prose are a concrete expression of his literary and artistic ideas. The cultural properties of his travelogue prose are also a space that awaits analysis and sorting out, a window on the aesthetic concepts of Wai-lim Yip＇ s culture and art.
