民国职业教育家郑辟疆蚕业学校文化育人的现代启示

摘　　要：郑辟疆自1918年起,连续担任江苏省立女子蚕业学校校长(及后来的苏州蚕桑专科学校、苏州丝绸工学院)达51年。他倡导"诚、谨、勤、朴"四字校训,推崇"诚则能谨,勤则能朴"之原则,他以高尚的人格感召师生,注重激发学生的爱国热情,启发学生的事业思想,引导学生参加社会实践,关心毕业生和校友的事业发展。对于当前职业学校培养学生牢固树立敬业守信、精益求精等职业精神具有重要启示。Since 1918, Zheng Pijiang had been the president of Jiangsu Women Silkworm School （later called Suzhou Silkworm Technical College, Suzhou Silkworm Engineering College） for 51 years. He proposed the school motto “honest, prudent, diligent, plain”, and he was favorable to the principle that “be honest then be prudent, be diligent then be plain”. He inspired the teachers and students by his noble personality. He stressed on motivating students’ patriotism, enlightening students’ career thoughts, guiding students to participate in social practice, and concerning about the graduates and alumni’s career development. It has important enlightenment on cultivating students’ career spirit such as professionalism and trustworthiness, seeking increasing perfection and so on in modern technical school.
