摘　　要：该项研究以湖北某高校大学英语口语教学为例,对命题表征理论在大学英语口语教学中的应用进行了实证性研究,研究表明:命题表征理论能够提高大学英语口语教学的效果,在一定程度上能够提高学生的英语口语水平,为今后的大学英语口语教学提供了一些建设性的意见或建议。The paper exemplified as a local university in Hubei Province has explored the application of proposition representation theory into college oral English teaching by empirical study, with a result that proposition representation theory can be effective to improve the expression of oral English and improve the level of oral English expression, so that the constructive suggestions will be supplied for college oral English teaching.
