《上海市大学英语教学参考框架》中“词汇能力”探析

摘  要:以学术英语为导向的《上海市大学英语教学参考框架》(试行)指导大学英语教学定位从学习语言为目的转到为专业学习服务的学术英语上。词汇是英语学习水平的一个重要的指标,是奠定听、说、读、写四项技能的基石。分析《框架》中一般级和较高级学术英语词汇能力目标,具有重要意义。《框架》词汇内容表现特点:词汇学习策略的渗入;词汇加工类别(接受性或产出性)和词汇知识深度的体现。《框架》词汇能力内容尚存在商榷之处。根据对词汇能力的详细分析,试提出建议。A Framework of Reference for EFL Teaching at Tertiary Level in Shanghai(Trial implementation) is an EAP-oriented guideline for the EFL teaching, which is supposed to shift the teaching objective to serving the studying of academic subjects from teaching language. Vocabulary is an important indicator of the level of English language learning and is the cornerstone for listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. An analysis of the targets of vocabulary skills in the two levels(Basic Level and Advanced Level) is significant. In comparison with other previous guiding documents, the Framework exhibits two features: infiltration of vocabulary learning strategies; presentation of vocabulary processing classification(receptive or productive) and the depth of vocabulary knowledge. Some issues in vocabulary skills are worth discussing and exploring. Based on the detailed analysis of the vocabulary skills, specific suggestions are made.
