摘　　要：环境工程英语是根据环境工程专业学生特定的专业需求而开设的英语课程,其目的是为培养能应用英文从事实际工作的高技能型人才,教学内容应以"过程性知识"为主、"陈述性知识"为辅的原则设定。在教学实践过程中,要让学生处于中心地位,通过项目设计将两种知识结合起来,并真正让学生做到将英文学成为一种工具,为以后的职业成长奠定坚实的基础。Environmental engineering English is offered according to the specific major requirements of environmental engineering major students, its purpose is to cultivate high skilled talents applying English in the practical work, and the teaching content should be determined by the principle with ＂procedural knowledge＂ as the main body, ＂declarative knowledge＂as the auxiliary. In the process of teaching practice, it needs to let the students in a center position, through the project design combining two kinds of knowledge, and really let the students learn English as a tool, so as to lay the solid foundation for future career growth.
