摘 要:本研究从词串的语篇密度和适切性两方面探讨了中国学者科研论文中词串的使用型式,揭示了中外学者词串使用的差异。首先,中国学者能够灵活运用的学术词串种类偏少;其次,中国学者单篇论文,特别是科技和医学领域论文的词串密度偏低;再次,中国学者在描述研究过程和表明学术立场时表现出词串贫乏、准确性不够的倾向。本文最后讨论了词串的未来研究方向。The present study investigates, from the perspectives of density and appropriateness, the uses of lexical bundles in research articles by Chinese scholars. The results indicate the differences between Chinese and native English scholars. First- ly, the lexical bundles frequently occurring in the texts by Chinese scholars are less varied. Secondly, the density of lexical bundles is significantly lower in the articles by Chinese scholars, particularly in the disciplines of medicine as well as science and technology. Thirdly, Chinese scholars are less competent in the manipulation of the lexical bundles pertinent to the de- scription of research procedure as well as the marking of stance. The paper concludes with some suggestions for further re- search of lexical bundles in academic writing.
