摘　　要：陶行知是我国伟大的人民教育家,在教育领域成就卓著,他不仅是生活教育思想的创立者,也是中国乡村幼稚教育的开拓者和奠基者。他在实践中创立的极具生活教育特色的乡村幼教思想以及他身体力行的实践极大地推动了中国幼教事业的进步和发展。Tao Xingzhi, a great educator for the people in China, has made prominent contributions to China#s education. He is not only the creator of life education thought, but also the pioneer and founder of rural preschool education in China. The rural preschool education thought strikingly with the characteristics of life education he created in practice as well as his personal prac-tice have greatly promoted the progress and development of rural education cause in China.
