摘　　要：植物与人类生产生活息息相关。通过收集一千六百多种植物的中名、英名以及拉丁学名,建立了小型双语平行语料库,对植物名称翻译进行了简要分类。从接受美学的角度出发,探讨了植物名称翻译中以译语读者为中心的翻译策略。译者为了使植物译名与读者形成"视野融合",在翻译过程中表现出了对读者意识形态和宗教信仰的观照,其中积极的读者观照有利于提高植物译名的接受性,同时促进花卉产业的发展。Plants are closely linked with human life and production. More than 1,600 species of plants＇ English,Chinese and Latin names are collected so that a small bilingual（ Chinese and English） parallel corpus is constructed to classify the translated names of plants. This paper,from the perspective of aesthetics of reception,discusses the translation strategies in plant name translation which are reader- centered. To achieve＂fusion of horizons＂,translators show concern for readers＇ ideology and religious belief,in which positive concern for readers helps improve the acceptance and promotes the development of flower and plant industry.
