摘　　要：翻译是把一种语言所表达的思维内容用另一种语言表达出来的语言活动,是一种跨语言跨文化的交际活动。语词作为语言中最活跃的因素,充分反映了不同语言所处语境的文化特点。因此,文化语境在词语翻译中显得极为重要。探讨了文化语境中诸多因素对翻译中词义选择的影响及其相应的翻译方法,说明了文化语境是成功翻译的条件,在教学中应该受到足够重视。Translation is a kind of activity in which translators express their thoughts with another language, is a kind of cross-lan- guage and cross-cultural communication activity. As the most active factor in language, words fully reflect the cultural characteristics of different language context. Therefore, the cultural is very important in the word translation. This article discusses the influence of the factors in cultural context upon selection of words meaning in translation and its corresponding translating methods, showing that cultural context is the condition of successful translation, and should be paid more attention in teaching.
