摘 要:语言不只是一些语言形式或者语言规则的排列组合,学习和使用外语的过程是一个跨文化交际的过程,因此在外语教学中必须进行文化教学。英语跨文化教学包括"教什么"和"如何教"两方面。"教什么"指的是既要传授英语的知识、技能,更要传授英语的文化及跨文化交际策略;"如何教"指的是根据教学目标和二语习得规律,从学习者需求和个体差异出发,开展英语教学。文章根据对当前大学英语跨文化教学情况的调查,就大学英语跨文化教学原则进行了探讨,以期为当前大学英语课程教学改革提供参考。Language is not merely some linguistic forms or the permutation and combination of linguistic regulations,and the process of learning and using a foreign language is the one of inter-cultural communication. Therefore,in the teaching of a foreigh language,One will have to implement cultural teaching. English inter-cultural teaching includes what to teach and how to teach. What to teach indicates that one not only has to teach English knowledge and skills,and English culture and inter-cultural communicative strategies as well,while how to teach refers to that one should teach English according to teaching aims and the rules of second language acquisition,and from learner's needs and individual differences. This pa-per,based on the investigation of the current English inter-cultural teaching at college,studies the teaching principles of English inter-culture at college to provide some references for the teaching reform of the current college English curricu-lum.
