高校翻译硕士(MTI)教育现状分析——以暨南大学为例

摘　　要：近年来,翻译硕士专业学位在我国发展十分迅速,近200所高校开设了翻译硕士课程。翻译硕士专业学位的快速发展,一方面培养了大量翻译人才,促进了我国翻译行业的发展,有利于开展国际交流与合作;另一方面,翻译硕士的发展难免遇到一些困难与挑战,在课程设置、师资队伍建设、实践基地的建设等方面都面临着一些亟待解决的问题。MTI（Mater of Translation and Interpreting）program has gone through a rapid development in the past decade.Currently nearly 200 universities in China offer MTI degrees to students all over the country,which has not only benefited those who want to engage in translation and interpreting,but also boosted the progress of China＇s translation industry.Furthermore,it has also enhanced the communication between China and the outside world.Taking the MTI program of Jinan University as an example,this paper provides a careful analysis of the curriculum,faculty,students＇ learning motivation and career choice of MTI program.Besides,some insightful suggestions regarding the above-mentioned fields are available in this paper as well.
