摘　　要：将地方文化融入高职英语教学,是传承文化、实现双向跨文化交际、培养具有本土特色的人才、服务地方经济的需要。以江苏南通某高校的教学实践为例,在教材编写、课堂教学、课外活动、评价方式等方面,提出了地方文化融入高职英语教学的对策和建议。Integrating local culture into higher vocational English teaching is to meet the needs of inheriting culture, fulfilling the two-way cross-culture communication, cultivating talents with native characteristics and serving local economy. Taking the teaching practice of a college in Nantong, Jiangsu province as an example, the paper puts forward some measures and suggestions of integrating local culture into higher vocational English teaching from the aspects of textbook compilation, classroom teaching, extracurricular activities and evaluating ways, etc.
