摘　　要：开展研究性教学是高等院校提高教学质量的重要措施,也是培养创新型人才的重要途径。以唐山师范学院为例,运用SWOT研究方法,对地方高师院校《中国地理》进行研究性教学的优劣势条件、面临的机遇与挑战进行具体分析,在此基础上对该课程研究性教学途径进行探索。方法主要有:加强引导,培养研究学习意识;优化整合,修改完善教学内容;认真谋划,制定教学实施方案;因材施教,灵活运用教学方法等八个方面。Research universities teaching is an important measure to improve the quality of teaching in college.it is also an important way to cultivate innovative talents.Taking Tangshan normal college as an example, Using SWOTresearch methods, make specific analysis on the advantages and disadvantages conditions of conduct researchteaching of ＂Chinese Geography＂ in local normal college and opportunities and challenges.Based on this, research toexplore the curriculum teaching approach. Methods are：strengthen guidance, Learning Awareness Training.optimization and integration, revise and improve the teaching content, Careful planning, develop teachingembodiments.Individualization, flexible use of teaching methods.
