摘 要:以《春晓》和《回乡偶书》为例,对许渊冲、曹顺发和林健民的唐诗英译进行比较。认为他们的英译文都竭力保持形美,使英译文在意境以及思想达到语言与文化的统一。许译更为注重体现原诗的音乐性,传达原诗的语言艺术,所以更为注重押韵,但有时为了原诗押韵的要求,显得不太忠实于原文;曹译注意保持口语性及通俗性,较好地体现了唐诗简洁易懂,连儿童也觉得易学易记的特点;林译注重整齐美,选词精准,竭力忠实于原文,对每词每句都斟酌推敲。Based on the three English versions of Spring Morning and Script on Returning Home by Xu Yuan- chong, Cao Shunfa and Lin Jianmin, an analysis is made to compare the different skills by the three transla- tors. They all tried to reproduce the beauty of form in English translation, therefore the versions realized the u- nity of language and culture in the artistic conception and ideas. Xu Yuanchong put emphasis on reflecting the music in the original poem, conveying its language art with focus on the rhyme, but sometimes keeping rhyme with loss of faithfulness to the original text ; Lin Jianmin focused on the parallelism, accurate diction and faith- fulness to the original with every deliberate word; Cao Shunfa kept colloquialism and popularity, which made the poem concise and easy to understand, especially easy for children to learn by heart.
