变异学视阈下的《孟子》英译本中的文化误译研究

摘　　要：从变异学角度着手,对《孟子》的理雅各(Legge.J.)译本和查尔斯·马勒(Charles Muller)译本进行比较与分析,梳理《孟子》两种译本在跨文化语境下发生的文化异质现象,并从文化误译、节译以及在变异过程中产生的其他"创造性叛逆"等方面探索《孟子》英译本中的文化误译现象。From the perspective of variation theory,this paper makes a comparative analysis between two versions of Mencius,translated by Legge. J. and Charles Muller,and gives a study on the literary heterogeneities of these two versions in cross- cultural context. It also researches the cultural mistranslation in the English versions of Mencius,based on analysis of cultural information omission,in the view of mistranslation and abridgement of words,phrases and sentences that contain unique national culture,as well as any other creative treasons.
