中医术语语言不可译和文化不可译比较

摘　　要：中医术语多抽象概括而缺少分析描述,抽象概括性、多义性和隐喻性三个重要特点是导致中医术语语言不可译性的重要因素;语言是民族文化的重要载体,中医术语的文学性、审美性、思辨性导致其文化的可译性很难掌握。语言的不可译性要比文化的不可译性更具有灵活性。中医术语的文化不可译和语言不可译并不是孤立存在而是经常交织在一起。TCM terms are abstract enough and lack of analysis and description, the abstract generality, poly-semy and metaphor are the main aspects to make linguistic untranslatability in TCM terms. Language is an impor-tant carrier of national culture, the characteristic of literature, aesthetics, and speculation make it difficult to master cultural untranslatability in TCM terms. Linguistic untranslatability is more flexible than cultural untranslatability, both of which in TCM terms are not isolated but often intertwined.
