从言语行为理论的角度看英语专业学生英文求职信中的语用失误

摘　　要：英文求职信可以看作是一系列书面言语行为的集合。言语行为理论强调以言指事和以言成事即表达意图和表达效果的对等。英语专业学生在书写求职信时往往按照母语的习惯来表达各种言语行为,而忽视了其在说英语国家的雇佣者身上可能产生的负面效果,导致在语用策略、言语行为表达频率和序列方面出现语用失误。只有当语言学习者意识到"意图"和"效果"对等的重要性时,他们才能有意识地避免语用失误,最终提高跨文化交际能力。An English letter of job application can be regarded as a set of written speech acts. The theory of speech act stres- ses the equivalence between illocution and perlocution, namely, the equivalence between ＂intention＂ and ＂effect＂. English ma- jors often express their speech acts in the way they do in their mother tongue, ignoring the possible negative effects on English- speaking employers, which lead to pragmatic failures in the choice of pragmatic strategies, frequency, and sequence. Only when English learners realize the importance of equivalence between ＂intention＂ and ＂effect＂, can they avoid pragmatic failures con- sciously and improve their cross-cuhural communicative competence.
